Thermo Scientific® Owl® D4 Horizontal Electrophoresis System provides optimal flexibility while conserving valuable bench space. Designed to provide flat, even banding patterns and consistent results with hassle-free gel casting- no tape, grease, agarose seals or other accessories are required. Run one gel tray (51 samples) in the buffer chamber, or to save bench space, two stacked trays (102 samples). Two 16 x 17 centimeter UV transmissible (UVT) gel trays accommodate up to three combs each, allowing the user to run up to three series of samples equal distances. Stand-alone casting platform included for casting two gels simultaneously. A single gel can be cast right in the buffer chamber or in the external caster.
