HEPA-VENT™ In-Line Filters - 1/4 to 3/8in SB - 6723-5000

HEPA-VENT™ is a disposable in-line filter device that will retain 99.97% of all particles greater than or equal to 0.3 uM. HEPA filter media is used throughout the scientific, research and industrial environments to provide clean/sterile air and gases. The HEPA-VENT™ housing is 1.8 inches long by 2.1 inches and is constructed of Polypropylene. The filter media is glass microfibre that has been laminated on both sides with a monofilament and treated to be mildly hydrophobic. Filtration area is 16 square centimenters. To provide clean/sterile air passing in and/or out of vessels (mixing, filling, fermenting, storing and transporting), the glass microfibre filter media provides high flow rates with low pressures. In use, one connector of the bi-directional HEPA-VENT™ is connected to the outlet of the vessel; the other connector is open to the atmosphere. Stepped barb fitting is equipped on filter.
