HEPA-CAP™ In-Line Filters - HEPA-CAP™ 75 In-Line Filter - 6702-7500

HEPA-CAP™ is a disposable in-line filter device that will retain 99.97% of all particles greater than or equal to 0.3 uM. HEPA filter media is used throughout the scientific, research and industrial environments to provide clean/sterile air and gases. Two sizes of these devices are available: HEPA-CAP™ 36 with a 625 square centimeter filter area; and HEPA-CAP™ 75 with a 1300 square centimeter filter area. The HEPA-CAP™ housing is made of durable polypropylene. The filter media is laminated hydrophobic-treated glass microfibre. To provide clean/sterile air passing in and/or out of vessels (mixing, filling, fermenting, storing and transporting), the glass microfibre filter media provides high flow rates with low pressures. In use, one connector of the bi-directional HEPA-CAP™ is connected to the outlet of the vessel; the other connector is open to the atmosphere. HEPA-CAP™ 36 connections are stepped hose barbs for ¼ IN to 3/8 IN (8 to 10mm) I.D. hoses; HEPA-CAP™ 75 has barbs for ½ IN (12mm) I.D. hoses.
