Anotop™ Disposable Syringe Filters with glass microprefilter are designed for use in a wide range of sample filtration applications. Each Anotop™ filter incorporates an ANOPORE™ membrane sealed within a hexagonal-shaped, precision-molded Polypropylene housing, complete with Luer fittings. Anotop™ 25mm offers maximum particulate retention and minimal contamination. This syringe filter is suitable for use with sample volumes up to 100ml, where particulate loading is moderate and minimal contamination of the filtrate by leachable compounds essential. Anotop™ 10mm offers minimal hold-up and maximum sample recovery. The Anotop™ syringe filter is ideal for use in the preparation of samples up to 10ml. With flow rate capabilities equivalent to competitive 13mm versions and exceptionally low hold-up volume of less than 20 ?L, Anotop™ 10mm filters are designed to ensure maximum sample recovery. All versions of Anotop™ syringe filters are available in gamma-irradiated sterile form, for use in specific applications where aseptic filtration conditions need to be maintained. Additionally, no adhesives or setting agents are used in the manufacture of these filters. This means that cell growth and metabolism are unaffected by the leaching of toxic materials. Applications include cold sterilization of growth media, phase and virus filtration, removal of high molecular weight proteins or polymers, liposome extrusion, filtration of solvents for spectroanalysis and analytical sample preparation.
