JG Finneran® This seal can be snapped on and off by hand which eliminates the need for metal crimping and decapping tools, thus reducing potential hazards due to sharp metal edges. The septum for these closures is made up of Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). Pressure release seals are designed for headspace vials to open when internal pressure exceeds 3.0 ± 0.5 Bar. These caps are silver and 20mm. The septum is 0.125in PTFE/silicone.
