The Stomacher® 400 Circulator has time settings adjustable to 30, 60, or 120 sec., or continuous processing on all models except those with enhanced temperature control. Programmable memory stores up to three paddle speeds and times (1 sec. to 99 min. 59 sec.) Blends materials that cannot be handled by conventional blenders Homogenizes using a combination of crushing and stirring. Remove viruses and bacteria from tissues and organs. Remove organisms from swabs, filters, tissue biopsies and fecal samples. Test sterility of creams, ointments and dry powders. Fast, reliable paddle action applies pressure to contained samples, forcing out organisms and homogenizing the sample. Samples contained in sterile, disposable bags minimize risk of cross-contamination during transportation, processing, and disposal; eliminates the need to sterilize blender between procedures.
