For an economical solution to biohazard waste disposal use Bel-Art Scienceware® Biohazard Disposal Bags. Made of Virgin Polypropylene. These translucent bags can be used for the safe disposal of used pipettes, Petri dishes, culture plates, membrane filters and more. Biohazard Disposal Bags can be autoclaved at a maximum of 135° C (275° F) and discarded. The bags are 1.5 mil, 0.04mm thick and meets or exceed the dart-impact test of 165 grams per ASTM D1709-85. Also meets or exceeds tear resistance test per ASTM 1922. Biohazard Disposal Bags are printed with a sterilization patch that darkens when subjected to steam sterilization. The bags are printed with the standard biohazard warning symbol and precautionary procedures in four languages, English, French, German and Spanish.
